Looking for a basketball club in Maidstone for your child? Our Kent Panthers Development Hub at Maidstone YMCA gives young players a local place to learn basketball, develop confidence and enjoy playing with others.
Maidstone has three separate weekly session options. Choose the U10, U12 or combined U14/U16 group that suits your player, then check the age and school-year guidance on the individual booking page.
Our Development Hubs focus on enjoyment and progress: dribbling, passing, shooting, movement and playing as a team. Beginners are welcome. You do not need to be ready for National League basketball to take your first step.

Can a beginner join?
Yes. Our Development Hubs welcome beginners and help players practise the basics in a supportive environment. Choose an appropriate age group and contact us if your player needs help finding the right session.
Can I choose any Maidstone session?
Choose the group that matches your child’s age and school year. The U10, U12 and U14/U16 listings have different eligibility details; contact us if you are unsure.
Is this an NBL team trial?
