Kent Panthers acquires Kent Tigers

We are delighted to announce that the Kent Tigers will now be known as the Kent Panthers following the acquisition by the Kent Panthers basketball club !

The current owner of the Kent Tigers, Sten Mayunga, moves across to the Kent Panthers as a Director and the new General Manager, officially starting his tenure at the end of 2022/23 season.

All existing Kent Tigers programs will be rebranded to Kent Panthers and combined with the current Kent Panther club and foundation. The club will be hosting a joint Awards Night for both the current Kent Tigers and existing Kent Panthers players and parents, where the vision of the clubs future will be discussed as well as celebrating the season both clubs have had.

It’s really exciting times ahead for the club and we’re looking forward to launching the new and improved club in 2023/24 season!
