Making Basketball Accessible to ALL!

Walking Basketball is a low impact version of traditional basketball which incorporates bisk walking for its cardio workout. It is typically played by ages above 55 years young but is open for all ages, abilities and fitness levels. It is played as part of a team which brings a sense of togetherness and camaraderie as you meet new people and have lots of fun together.

Why play Walking Basketball?

The game is truly so much fun! Walking basketball players all say that they love the sense of camaraderie that you get as soon as you step onto the court and that you quickly forget that you’re exercising because of all the fun you have together. It is great to meet and build new connections and friendship with people in similar situation, although the game is played against another team, it is common that at the end of the session, all participants congregates together to enjoy a coffee and continue to forge these relationships. The game is great for both mental and physical wellbeing and we encourage everyone to at least give it a try.
